Hi there. I am nearly ACA qualified with PwC. Am looking to move into consultancy however before I leave PwC I was thinking about an internal secondment to Business Recovery Services or Transaction Services. Should I stay on at PwC another year or so to get this experience, would this harm my chances of moving into strategy consulting?

Transaction Services might actually help with strategy consulting, given the slant towards commercial due diligence (they have some ex-strat people on the team), but not sure about Business Recovery Services - that could look less good. The strat houses are also looking for your skill set at the moment, so why not try them now? A year there would be worth more than a year in TS, I would think.
