#0 Offer from PA...

Hi guys,I'm in the process of receiving an offer from PA. One last conf call interview to clear (Fingers crossed for it!! :))I have close to 3 years in a major consultancy primarily in IT consulting environment. My role changes in my firm have been quite quick in past (aka I'm presently playing the role of a Project Manager - though, my pay packet doesn't reflect that yet! :)). I am absolutely impressed with the people I've interacted with at PA and the kind of work that I've seen been done there - so am very keen to join them.I was hoping to join at the Consultant level (given my focused attention on a single vertical all through my career and past rapid role changes), but seems like I am on the borderline of a consulting analyst - consultant. So the promise is that even if I join at the consulting analyst role - a quick promotion will be in line.Just wanted to know the views of all you fellers on this. Thanks!

Congratulations - I hope the offer goes through. If you sense that they are really keen, I would hold out for the Consultant role, rather than coming in as an Analyst, but if you would rather just get your foot in the door, take whatever is on offer, and work hard for a quick promotion! Best of luck, either way.

Agree with the previous poster about pushing for the C grade, rather than CA. PA's org design is "diamond shaped", rather than the traditional triangle. The result is that people are swept up to C or Principal Consultant level much quicker than in the other consultancies. You'll really enjoy PA. Good choice of employer
