#0 Do I tell them I have other offers?

I'm facing the following dilemma: I've progressed to the 2nd stages of recruitment at two consultant firms. It's quite likely that I may be asked at each one of these whether I have offers from elsewhere. Now if I tell them YES they may think the likelyhood of me joining them is halved even if they offer me a position, which may just be the factor that tips the scales in favour of the competing candidate. On the other hand this may signal to them that I must be good and reassure them that they've chosen a high calibre candidate. Which one of these do you think is more prevalent? Am I better off disclosing this information or not? Thanks for your advice

I would tell them. It should increase your "market value" a tiny bit, and I don't think it can do any harm. Certainly with M/B/B, it is perfectly normal to interview with (and possibly get offers from) all three. Good luck!

Do tell them. They will expect you to say you have other offers anyway as it's pretty much standard practice to present yourself as sought after in this way.

A quick add on point, Gez. Defintely tell them. If they ask which is your first choice, say that this firm is your first choice and if it wasn't, you wouldn't be interviewing with them - but would have accepted the other offer!! Its win-win I'm sure.
