Any views on above? I am doing really well is managing high profile projects/programmes up to £20 million budget. Above programme claims to transform me into Programme Director sort of roles managing multi billion (yes billions) size prorgammes.BTW I am already MBA from leading UK uni and sooner or later I will go back to perm jobs. Good grief.

They're charging £33K for a course comprised of "8 modules of 4 days"? So around £1,000 per day of tuition. My first thought? "Get real!"

"licence" and "print money" come to mind.

They should do a course on "responsible stewardship" - in particular, focusing on senior executives' differences in approaches taken towards obtaining "value for money" when spending their own money versus that of their employer.

I'm less of a sceptic about project and programme management than most MCs I know, mainly because I've actually had to manage big and complex projects (unlike many of those who spout vacuous opinions about 'agile' or how project management should be 'less bureaucratic') but £35k seems damn steep for a 32 day course to me.ECPS - Got to love BEP's comments. UKcontractor (we meet again ;) ), would your fee as a contracting programme manager go up proportionally to the presumably steep increase in the hassle of having to manage much bigger programmes?If not, why bother?
