Hi all,I'm currently a Senior Account Manager for a tech start-up. At two years out of college, I am just getting my career started. However, I definitely know that I want to use Account Management as a stepping stone. That is to say, I am 100% sure that I don't want to make a lifelong career out of it. I've given a lot of thought to what I like and don't like about my current job, and account management in general. In terms of what I like -- I definitely enjoy the analytical and consultative pieces. Specifically, figuring out what a client can be doing to achieve better results, and then walking them through this. Which got me to thinking I may enjoy a career in management consulting. With that being said, I'd like to know if anyone has any experience in making a transition from Account Management to consulting? And if not, does anyone have any specific tips? I'm trying to plan my short-term future, so I'd really appreciate any feedback!
