I'm looking for latest views on EY IT Advisory. Pipeline, culture etc. What is typical working hours and the cutlure. I'm coming from a large IT outfit (think CSC, IBM etc) with, lets be honest, a easy life. What should I expect at EY at Manager level? Thanks.

I interviewed for a similar position with EY IT Advisory and it was my worst experience ever. Took them two months to get back to me - by that time I've already started on a new job with a top IB. I'm surprised why they can't be bothered to treat interview candidates in a professional manner? Maybe this shows a glimpse of what you can expect once you start working there. Anyway, good luck if you decide to interview with them.

I interviewed with EY six years ago, and am still waiting for a response. It was for their F&PM area, which has gone to the dogs since then. A lucky escape, or sour grapes???? We shall never know

Wouldn't touch them with a barge poll. The culture is repressive, over worked and under paid. The partners are mainly ex-Accenture focused on money money money, with very little leadership and staff development.

I joined EY a couple of years ago (not in the IT area) and I can say it has been the worst decision of my career. They can't sell any private sector work, and there is real pressure to take sh1t roles on central government jobs that are completely pointless. I would think long and hard before joining. If you want cr@p public sector jobs, and want to get well paid, why not join PA or Tribal instead?
