A global consultancy is looking for a consultant to support their main global FMCG client on a cost-reduction project; it is a follow up piece on a similar engagement done in 2017 – this time focusing on their Marketing department, specifically on media/digital advertising spend. You will conduct an analysis of their current digital/media marketing spend and make strategic recommendations on cost-savings to meet the company’s targets – which need to be delivered by end of October 2018.
Objectives will include:
- Drill down into current marketing mix, identifying the breakdown of digital/media marketing spend and its effectiveness/ ‘waste’
- Embed best practice frameworks to ensure ROI on marketing spend
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
- Manage a variety of stakeholders from both the consumer goods company and the consultancy
- Work globally with offices in the UK, US, South East Asia
Consultant profile:
- Deep digital marketing experience, preferably at a senior/global level from a top retail company or digital agency
- An expert in FMCG global brands and how they function
- Strategy consulting experience within leading consultancy or in industry would be beneficial
- C-Suite stakeholder engagement experience
