Boston Consulting Group (BCG) was named a worldwide leader in business consulting services in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Business Consulting Services 2021 Vendor Assessment (Doc # US47023921, November 2021). “Buyers worldwide view BCG as excelling at directly improving the client organization’s commercial performance,” said the report.

The report provides an in-depth look at 11 providers of business consulting services, evaluating them against 16 criteria divided into two categories: capabilities and strategy. Participating vendors were placed in either the Leaders Category or the Major Players Category. Based on its performance, BCG was named to the Leaders Category in all four markets (Worldwide, Americas1, Europe2, Asia/Pacific3).

To be included in this IDC MarketScape report, firms were required to be one of the top five largest business consulting firms by worldwide revenue based on IDC’s Services Tracker or be a firm with broad portfolios spanning the different business consulting domains as identified in IDC’s services taxonomy. Vendors were evaluated using materials provided up to May 2021.
