this is my situation:I would like to have the opportunity to work in Australia but without a Permanent resident status right now, chances of a job is very slim seeing we are just recovering from recent global crisis...But by god's grace, i have gotten 2 jobs back in malaysia.. the first being an auditing offer from ernst & young Malaysia while the 2nd is a consulting offer with PWC malaysia...I want to get some overseas work experience in Australia but throwing away 2 job offers and waiting for my PR status doing nothing in Australia for a year seems like a waste of time...keep in mind, i cant perform any professional jobs till i get my PR in late 2010...I was thinking of goin back to malaysia, get offshore PR and with 1-2 years of experience, come back and work in Australia...Taking the auditing offer, my chances of being able to work in australia in the future would seem brighter but i have quite a dislike for that field...If i take the consulting offer, i know i would be better suited for the job...but i worry it will be a lot harder to come back and work in australia seeing consulting jobs are harder to come by than accounting/auditing jobs...So what do you guys think? battle it out in Australia, wait it out for the permanent resident status and in the mean time do odd jobs like book keeping before moving on to a real job OR go back to malaysia and take the auditing job with EY and come back to Oz and have an easier time finding work OR do wat i like which is consulting but worry that there might not be as many job opportunities back in australia in the future...Keep in mind, the advisory service i am refering to is Governance, Risk and Compliance consulting and the places i would like to work in OZ in the future would be melb or sydney...please do give me your advice...cheers
