Question for you both regarding this - you're at a big four consulting practice thriving so far in the environment in the area you want to be in. People know your name nationwide. You receive an offer to join a smaller, boutique firm in a similar industry - similar pay, also in the city.Beginning of your career, what would you do?

Stay with your current firm. It would seem to be a no-brainer.

If you move it will be 18 months before you can expect ANY. Pay increase or progression. Doh!Your ego is enjoying being headhunted, but in this case it's like being asked out on a date (cool) by a $ex offender (net position - not cool)
