Which has a better offer? Depends what offers they have given you. If only one is offering you a job, then that is the better firm regardless of any hypothetical differences.

Well, let's just put it tt way tt both has offered and is the same. I am looking more on the staff welfare and the level of happiness of ppl working in each of the Firm. Not asking on pay wise....

Hands down Deloitte is better.But KPMG will be overtly nice and gentle with you and support you even if you are crap. So I suppose it depends it you are a man or a mouse?

You seem to miss the point.Deloitte are a better consulting firm in terms of clients, brand, recognition, training, long term prospects etcKPMG are "nice", do much shorter length projects and support dead wood. Personally that would p*ss me off. I have no interest either and work for neither but if you ask for someones opinion don't get shirty when you receive it.

You're the one who seems to be getting shirty (and missing my point). I was simply saying that being nice isn't a good reason to KB a company. Sure, recognition, training etc. are good reasons, but I could only respond to what you posted and not what you meant to say. Sheesh, I think you need a day off.

I work for neither but as far as consulting is concerned (and unless you have some subjective stake in KPMG, such as you work there or something) you'd have to say Deloitte -without a shadow of a doubt - wouldn't you?

shorter projects = less value (business and ££ wise) = less salary and bonus = why Deloitte pay their partners the highest in the market. This isn't a secret.
