Besides all the differences between both jobs, what gives more prestige in a CV, top-tier Strat Consulting (Mk, BCG, etc) or top-tier Investment Banking (Goldman, Merill, etc). Any advice will be welcomed. Thanks!

I guess it depends on the person/organisation you want to impress. For instance, a typical floor cleaner wouldnt be impressed by any of these names on your CV (if he would be able to read it in the first place) :)

Ervin - what use is prestige on a CV if it doesn't open the doors for you later in life that you want to be opened?! 5 years at McKinsey and 5 years at Goldman Sachs will take you down very different career paths. Goldman gives you your pick of City careers down the line - but if you want a top role in the broader economy it's going to be much less of a door opener I would say than McKinsey. So your question cannot be answered unless you can first answer the question "what options and career paths do you want to keep open and which do you not mind closing off?". Tony

Hi Tony, thanks for the answer. Could you be more specific about different paths and what do you mean by "city Career"? Thanks a lot.
