What is an average base salary for a strategy consultant within full house consultancy... a rough estimate/ball park figure would be great. Thanks

With a top strategy consultancy I would say £30k for an analyst, £45k for a consultant and £65k for a senior consultant. Above that you're into the MBA entry-level territory, where starting salaries would be about £75-80k. If joining the strategy practice of a large full-service consultancy I'd say you can knock 10-15% off these salary points. Hope that helps, Tony

Tony,Am I right in believing that the percentage-of-salary bonus in Top Strats houses are on average more than in large full service consultancies.Do you by any chance have an indication what this percentages are?

In good years 15-20% of base salary for the junior ranks and then 20-30% for the manager levels would be about right for the strategy firms; we'll be running a bonus survey in 2 months' time, so will be able to give you absolute figures - and comparisons between different types of firms - once those results are in. Hope that helps, Tony
