Hi just wanted to get some insight into how this little group is seen in terms of prestige, work they do, salary, befefits etc. Thanks !

I understand this is a start-up division within PWC, I think they are trying to get a foothold in strategy consulting, but I don't think they've earned any credibility in that yet.I got approached by a recruiter working for them a few weeks ago, he said they'd have no problem matching my (industry leading for my level) package and that benefits are also good, although he wouldn't give any figures! I haven't heard from them since.

I am also looking at grad entry and went to one of their presentation evenings to find out more about this area.I was put off very quickly - I had at least three people tell me not to apply to strategy but to go on an accountancy scheme and then move accross later in my career. And did not find any info out - maybe a bad day but that was my experience.I can't comment on the actual department but pwc as a whole do not seem to see this as a grad recruiting area.
