Well, after much thought and heart ache I've finally decided to get my CV written proffesionally. There are so many sites offering so much conflicting advice, even for specific jobs, that I figure it must be worth a shot. Can anyone recommend (or not recommend) a company? Again, there are so many out there - far to many to choose from. I'd like a company that is going to ask incitful questions about me and know what they are doing rather than take my existing CV and re-jig a little. Any advice is good advice! thanks in advance.

first thing you need to do is develop the habit of running spell check on everything you write! Second I can recommend the CV assessment service on top-consultant.com (not an ad, I'm a simple punter); I didn't agree with everything Sarah wrote but much of what she said was good advice and stuff I hadn't thought of. It's not expensive and you can decide after reading it if you want to go ahead to have yours professionally written.

With all due respect, if you need somebody to write your resume for you, then I hardly see how you can succeed in consulting...
