Ive got an graduate assessment day for PA consulting's IT Strategy group coming up which Im really keen to do well in but I have virtually no experience of assessments days. The day consists of:In Tray Exercise - Case Study (1 hour)Interview with a senior member of the IT Management Practice (1 hour)Preparation & Role Play (30 minutes)Group Exercise (1 hour)I am most concerned about the in-tray part as I have never done one of these before. Do I have to write anything, for example an email? I am also pretty worried about the interview as it is an hour long and the previous interview I had asked so many competancy based questions im sure there isnt much more in that way they could ask! Should I be considering a specific approach with regards to the IT Strategy position? Any advice at all would really be appreciated... Many thanksAj

Could be wrong, but I think the 'In Tray Excercise' is where they bombard you with e-mails and tell you to do what you can in an hour. Key is to prioritise, not to get stressed, and work through methodically and quickly.
