I read somewhere on this forum that accenture pay more than deloitte at every level. Is the true? and if so how great on average in percentage terms is the difference? Cheers

I think that post is mine and yes ACN pay more than Deloitte at al levels. But then ACN have 3 levels of consultant (c1, c2, c3) and Deloite have 2 levels of consultant (M1 and M2).That said the pay increases faster at ACN than Deloitte too. I managed to increase my salary (when I moved) but within a year ACN will catch up and overtake my earnings.

If it is money you are after then join ACN. Deloitte only pay more at Partner level and we know why (private firm)

ACN pay more at all levels compared to Deloitte (other than Partner)-even though they have more grades but for a near 1:1 mapping ACN will always come up at least 10% irrespective of competency/ service area. The only time ACN pay will be low compared to Deloitte is if you join ACN as an 'experienced hire' but if you prove your self you will always have greater earnings potential at ACN. I should know, I recently joined ACN from Deloitte and although the package was less, I got a sign on bonus which meant I got a better all round deal at ACN and if I prove myself at ACN I will be earning at least 10% of what I was earning at Deloitte plus bonus within a year for a similar role.
