Hi, I'm currently working for ACN in one of their client facing finance teams. I'm passing my CIMA exams at the same time so things are going well. However, as I reach qualification I'm facing a career crossroads and I'm hoping someone could offer me some useful advice. The situation is that if I stay at ACN then I'll almost certainly have to work in a Finance team as it's quite difficult to move from Finance to Consulting and vice versa. There are some great teams to get into but it will still be Finance in some shape or form. The other option is to make every effort to get into a Business Consulting role, ideally Strategy (everyone says that don't they!) but I'm aware of the ultra high standards and fierce competition. Before I qualify I would have liked to have done my research and come to a decision I'm happy with. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding my situation in general or on potential target firms for the Consulting option? All help and advice gratefully received, Chris
