PA have told me that they will offer me a position. However, no mention has been made of a sign on bonus (although I still haven't seen the overall offer). What do they offer? How does it compare to Accenture and BT?

They will offer you not one single Penny unless you explicitly ask for it, when they might offer you about 10% of Base Salary from what I hear from some new colleagues who have just come in. What group are you joining ?

Hi Cheggers, What salary can be expected for someone joining the Business Operations practice at consultant level? Also, any idea on what type of projects they've got going on in BOP? Is it really all Public? I thought PA had private sector clout - am I misled? What group are you in?

I am in BOP also. The salary range for Consultant level is in the region of £40-£50k. There won’t be a sign-on bonus at Consultant level. Main jobs are Transport for London, National Assembly for Wales, and a few local councils. Very little private sector.

Sal is late fifties, early sixties (plus bonus of 15%). You can neg a sign on bonus of about 10% of basic pay
